Color matching & fabric durability

See your colors on real fabric before you commit.

A mockup on a screen is not the same as the uniform on your players. We match your colors in dye sublimation inks, proof them on the actual fabric, and mail you a free swatch kit so you can check the color and feel the material before a single jersey is produced.

Color matching

How we get your colors right.

Most color complaints come from one thing: nobody looked at the real fabric before production. This is the process we run instead.

You send the color you need

A Pantone number, a school color, a paint chip, or a photo of the jersey you love. The closer the source, the closer the match.

We match it in ink, not on screen

Our designers build the design in dye sublimation inks and proof it on the same fabric your uniforms will be printed on — not just on a monitor.

You approve the physical swatch

We mail you the matched fabric so you can see it in daylight and under gym lights before anything goes into production.

The honest part: dye sublimation on polyester can't hit every color a screen can show. Neon shades and some deep greens shift a little. We'd rather show you that on a swatch than have you find it on delivery day.

Fabric durability

Built to survive a full season.

Uniforms get washed weekly, dragged across turf, and worn in heat. Here's what holds up and why.

Dye sublimation colors don't sit on top

The dye bonds into the polyester fiber instead of sitting on the surface, so the design won't crack, peel, or flake the way a printed layer can.

Fade resistance you can plan a season around

Sublimated colors hold up through repeated washing and outdoor games. Wash cold, hang dry, and skip fabric softener to keep them sharp.

Fabrics picked for the sport

Lightweight, breathable performance knits for basketball and baseball, heavier double-knit and interlock for football and hockey, with reinforced stitching at stress points.

Care that keeps colors sharp

  • • Wash cold, inside out, with like colors
  • • Hang dry — high heat is what dulls fabric
  • • Skip fabric softener and bleach
  • • Don't iron directly on printed areas

Common questions

Color and durability, answered.

Can you match a Pantone or school color exactly?

We match as close as the fabric allows. Dye sublimation on polyester has a smaller color range than paper or a phone screen, so very bright neon shades and some deep greens shift a little. That's exactly why we send the swatch first — you approve the real fabric, not a render.

Why does the mockup look different from the finished uniform?

Screens are backlit; fabric isn't. A digital proof is the right tool for layout, logos and lettering, but it can't show how a color reads on textured fabric in daylight. The swatch kit closes that gap.

Will the numbers and names peel off?

Numbers and names printed with the uniform are sublimated into the fabric and won't peel. If you want a raised, textured look instead, we'll tell you what that trade-off costs in durability before you order it.

How do I know the fabric will last a full season?

Feel it first. The swatch kit is the same fabric we build your uniforms from, so you can check the weight, the stretch and how the color reads before you commit to a roster.
